It also has a platform for the steam railway, and we were on Thomas the Tank Engine - much more fun! 17/04/2004 Waters Edge Hotel, The Knap Once a hotel, latterly a residential home, the Water's Edge site is now up for re-development as housing, with plans apparently approved for a six storey building. Meanwhile, the local hooligans have started smashing the windows, which are now boarded up. 28/02/2004 Waters Edge Hotel, The Knap In February the boarding was new, and the windows were intact.
